Mark, I am not sure what question you' re refering to....

If a player steps off the field with the intention to leave an attacker in an offside position do as already explained above. Regarding the application of this part of the law, it makes no diference what the outcome of the attack is.

If the players or anyone else reacts to this, and it wouldn't surprise me, you will have to manage the situation accordingly. Since when do we tailor our decisions based on the shouting of players or anyone else for that matter?

Angelos, you refereed me to the Q&A Law 11 question 3. But you're right. No matter what the outcome of the attack you would allow play to continue and caution at the next stop. This is one of those things I've never seen happen but would just love a player to try.
