Are players allowed to "stradle" the centre line at kick off (have one foot on each side of the field) , or must they be in line or behind the ball?

At kickoff all players must be on their own half of the field. If a player decides to stradle the line, then he is on both halves. I would politely ask him to remove his one foot from the opponents side of the field.
