So we're a month into the season. Just wondering if anyone has any good stories to tell yet? Surely someone has done a game they think is worth mentioning.
I had a good one between Whitecaps and Highlanders (Len's team) tonight. Pretty good game. Decent chances on both ends. Whitecaps were just too much for them. Toward the end of the game my AR called an offside that I waived off because I thought the defender was the last player to play the ball under control. One of the Highlanders starts telling me I can't do that. At the next stoppage he was saying their players couldn't stay in the offside position without being called offside. I looked at him and said "sure can, ask your coach". He kinda smiled at that. He knew Len would tell him exactly what I did. Good times.
