It is important to keep the fields on time. If a field is behind, how much time is allowed to be cut? Are there certain games when time cannot be cut? Do the teams must be informed?

Generally SDSA has said you can cut a maximum of 2 minutes off each half. Realistically we prefer to take a shorter half time. If you end up with a late field, try to shorten the half first. As a last resort take no more than 2 minutes off each half. Make sure both halves are equal length.

Personally I don't always inform the teams. It's really up to you. Just let them know the fields are running behind so you're going to take a minute or whatever off each half. If it's a playoff game I'd still play the full length.
